Posts should be concreted into the ground at depths of 300mm to 600mm, depending on required finished height. Posts designed to have Decking Joists running ‘inline’ through the posts, with posts at max every 1.2m apart
Joists should be at max 600mm apart, or 450mm for Heavy Duty requirements like Hot Tubs. ( We recommend using Extra Thick Decking Joists for heavy requirements like hot tubs)
